Your Timepiece, Treated with Care
Lanna Wela offers unhurried, attentive work on mechanical watches — from routine servicing to careful vintage restoration. We explain everything plainly, welcome your questions, and move at a pace the work deserves.
What We Offer
Our Services
Movement Service & Clean
A thorough service for mechanical watches — the movement is taken apart, cleaned, freshly lubricated, and regulated so it keeps steady time once more. Recommended when a watch has gone several years without attention or is beginning to run unevenly.
- Full disassembly and ultrasonic cleaning
- Fresh lubrication to specification
- Timing regulation and accuracy test
- Service warranty on completion
Crystal Replacement
A neat service replacing a scratched or cracked crystal with a suitable new one, fitted carefully to restore clarity and protect the dial you love. Where helpful, we also tidy the surrounding case edges, taking care to preserve the watch's original lines.
- Mineral, sapphire, or acrylic options
- Crystal and cost confirmed beforehand
- Movement protected throughout work
- Case edge tidying where appropriate
Full Vintage Restoration
An attentive restoration for vintage and inherited watches needing substantial care — movement rebuilding, replacement of worn parts, and conservation of original features. The aim is to return the timepiece to dependable life while honouring its history and patina.
- Movement rebuild and parts sourcing
- Original patina and features conserved
- Written plan agreed with owner
- Suitable for collectible and heirloom pieces
Why Lanna Wela
What Sets Our Work Apart
Plainly Explained Work
We describe what we find and what we plan to do in straightforward language. No unnecessary jargon, no surprises — just clear communication at every stage.
Measured Pace, Careful Hands
Fine watchwork cannot be rushed. Each piece receives the time it needs, and owners receive gentle progress notes so they are never left wondering.
Service Warranty Included
Movement services carry a warranty on the work carried out. If something needs revisiting within that period, we attend to it without question.
Agreed Costs Beforehand
We confirm what the work will involve and what it will cost before anything begins. The decision always rests comfortably with the owner.
Respect for Original Character
We work to preserve what makes a watch itself — its patina, its original parts, its particular history — rather than erasing those qualities in pursuit of a showroom finish.
Questions Always Welcome
We are happy to talk through what we are doing, why, and what to expect at every step. You are welcome to ask as many questions as you like.
Has Your Watch Been Sitting Unserviced?
A quiet conversation costs nothing. Bring your timepiece in, or drop us a message, and we will take a look and let you know what we think — with no obligation to proceed.
